Miley: Hotter than Ever

Once again, Miley Cyrus has proven she's Hannah Montana no more with her latest song and music video We Can't Stop. I definitely LOVED everything about the song and the mv! I don't think theres anything wrong with it like what most people are ranting about as if they are saints themselves. We all got different personalities and it's just that Miley's not your ordinary. I adored her ever since but my love for her went up a notch after the hair change thing came up. She's hotter than ever! Plus the fashion sense... it's like a classier Rihanna was born. I can go on and on with my Miley fuss but I'll obviously bore you, so watch her latest music video instead!

Nepy's Despedida aka COF get together

We've all been told that highschool is the best (in all aspects, basta masaya) part of anybody's life. Ate Shawie even made a song about how "saya" highschool life is. And I definitely agree with it! Some people may not, but I do!!!! Highschool is where you start to get "wild" pero hindi pala talaga wild haha you get to experience things na parang youre so free. Feeling cool kidzz pa and all pag senior na hahaha! I'm so blessed and grateful for these people that Ive shared all my highschool experiences with. We've seen each other grow and transform (literally) to what we are today. Some people (unfortunately) aren't blessed with friends whom they can just share anything and everything without getting cheezy, baduy and jej!

COF (Circle of Friends) aka my highschool friends are the set of friends that I treasure the most. As in solb ang araw everytime may overnight dahil wala kaming ginawa kundi mag-laitan, magasaran, i-bully si Hanchie, magpaka sawa sa pictures at kung ano ano pa! Anyway, ang dami ko pang sinabi gusto ko lang naman talaga i-share ang pictures namin last June5 hahaha

Little Miss (feeling) French

These past few months I've been busy trying to learn the sossy language that is French. And Im really enjoying it! (Maka explain ako akala mo expert na eh no hahaha!) Mga basic chenes palang ang alam ko, but seriously it feels good na Im learning something new and besides, this might be an advantage someday... oh diba tuhruy! Hahahahaha

Aside from the lesson itself, I realized that I should use other resources to be able to understand the complicated language even more. My cousin (who's in Canada and is fluent in French) told me that watching movies would really help and recommended Les Choristes (The Chorus) and can I just say how AWESOME the movie was?! It's a very simple movie but there's something to it that would make you go awwwww (with matching puppy eyes) so go watch it even though you're not trying to learn the language! Plus look out for Pepinot and my new crush, Morhange! They are cuties! ;)

So anyway, the main purpose why I'm writing this post is because I wanna share another Youtube video with you guys hahaha haba pa ng intro ko no?! It's a French song called Elle Me Dit (She tells me) it's very catchy and the music video is soooo cute!



Ahhh I love everything about this video1 The color, the tone the people hahaha! Chos basta ang cute!

How to connect to people-- all over the world #Postcrossing

I think every (typical) girl goes through that phase in her life where she has to write a letter to a "bestie" (my bestfriend and I dont call each other that though) and just write something! Kahit pinaka non sense thought ever, I think it's an untold rule... or that's what I think. I remember getting letters put inside the Tofi luk and Hersheys foil wrappers. And don't deny it, don't it feel good reading a letter na puro memories and pangbobola? And with our fast paced environment it's always nice to have something to look back and meron ka pa pang #throwbackthursday! Up until now, I still have that habit of writing letters to friends every once in a while. Birthdays, graduations or just sweet nothings. Though I barely get any!! *ehem ehem*

Luckily, just today, a friend of mine told me to google Postcrossing and that I would really appreciate it... and so I did and just imagine how giddy I got when I discovered what Postcrossing is!

 Based on their website (http://www.postcrossing.com)

  The goal of this project is to allow people to receive postcards from all over the world... The main idea is that: if you send a postcard, you will receive one back from a random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world. 

Isn't it cool?! My entire life I have only received two postcards, one from my dad, and just recently from my aunt. I have always been fascinated with this kinds of stuff. You know... the things that only happen on movies. You're a hopeless girl, with random dreams, meeting strangers, changing lives... pa-hipster ba! It's always a fantasy of mine! Hahaha walang pakialamanan.

I just think it's a great way to connect to people, find your inner "traveller", and explore! I just needed to share this one so if in any case you guys are interested, just register and start sending those postcards! :-)

My brothers and I surprised (I love giving AND getting surprises) my sister on her birthday, and I hate her for knowing about it way before the "surprise". Kami pala ang masusurprise hahaha

I love getting pasalubongs from people I love most, not because I'm getting free stuff, but because they were thinking about you on their trip! No one can beat that feeling (unless may sobra lang pala sa take home pasalubong nila. Ouch)

I'm super duper in love with this color right now!! I think it's super girly, cute and elegant all at the same time. Plus, its pastel/semi-nude shade is perfect for the summer season!

Recently discovered this acapella singing group, Pentatonix, over the internet. Though I know that they're already popular cos of the million hits that their videos have, I'm always this lame that I only "discover" cool stuff (product, show, music, etc) when they're already super popular or is about to get out of the limelight. But anyways, just in any case that we're on the same boat, I'm going to post one of their videos on my next post ;)

Meteor Garden

Surprise, surprise!!!! Now you now, how lame of a person I am, for not having the F4 fever, more than  10 YEARS AGO. Well, of course I know who F4 are + Sancai, and that super cathcy song, Oh baby baby baby... but honestly, (my bestfriend is witness to this) I have never watched a single episode of Meteor Garden! But just last thursday, I came across this tweet saying OH.MY.GOD. plus a youtube link... and yeap, it's the Meteor Garden S01E01, I tried watching just for the sake of watching, and in that instant, I fell in love with F4!

I can go on and on about my F4 fever but I'm thinking of putting it on another post HAHAHAHAHAHA

I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella

This is my latest/lastest book read. And I just have to say that this novel is amazing! If you're into light and kilig love stories, this is a must-read! I don't wanna spoil the story, so better go ahead and do yourself a favor- read!!!

Glamworks Permanent Hair Dye Color

I've been wanting to dye my hair but Im scared that it might turn out jeje-ish or something and I dont want a drastic change. I went to SM last week and was checking out kikay stuff and I came across this hair dye. I was wondering why ist flat, I mean it's not in a box, unlike the usual hair dye. I found out that it's a shampoo-like dye so it's easier to apply. Ive only heard of shampoo-dye from Etude. I didnt know we locally have this type, so I think it's worth the try and its so cheap! (50php) The smell is soooo nice. It has this fruity smell and you wont think that youre applying a dye at all. After rinsing and blow-drying my hair kinda turned light, thiught you can barely see the difference, but it's fine cos my hair is soooo black that it's really impossible for it to take effect unless I bleach my hair first. But maybe with a few more applications, may magiiba din! ;;)

My Summer LSS

I'm loving TSwift's 22 right now, and it's been on loop for a day already! Not really a hardcore Swiftie, but I really love how fun, girly and transparent she is with her songs. Plus she really is relatable since she write songs based on experiences! (and those catchy melodies)

Valentines Day is just around the corner and I know for sure that there are those whos been stressed, pressured and shy even 'cause they don't have a date. But who cares? Dadating din ang knight in shining armor mo. But for the meantime, enjoy being single and read this!

Lemme share a few ideas that just might turn your V-Day better than expected 

1. Ask Ramon Bautista out 

okay this would be a little too hard 'cause we all know how in-demand he is so, erase erase. Read his book instead.

2. Plan a dinner date with friends!!

who needs a lover when you've got the best people in the world

3. Ready your koreanovela, The Notebook-A Walk To Remember-My Sassy Girl-Windstruck-like movies 

release all those stress and emotions and get free kilig moments all at the same time

4. Plan a sleepover with your friends and watch the scariest of the scariest movie you know. 

dont forget to make your friends ask your crush to come as well para magka moment with him pag "scary" part na 

5. Foodtrip

uhhh, do I need to explain?

6. Read a book

okay, I know it's corny but if youre not the book-reading type of person, trust me, a few pages won't hurt. It's a different world out there you know. 

7. Make a bucket list

8. Reconnect with old friends 

who knows, you might find more than what you expected

9. Catch up on your favorite series

these little things we forget, sometimes make a huge difference!

10. GET OUT AND MEET NEW PEOPLE 

not just to find "the one" but you know, just to have fun and enjoy. 

I don't know if this post even makes sense but I really just think that a few people makes a big deal out of this day when in fact it's just another ordinary day... okay I sound a little bitter there haha but no really, this is for those who think that they're not pretty or good enough. Smile! There's more to life than these little celebrations. Soon enough, you'll get to celebrate as well *wink wink*

So I decided to share what are my current reads. And just in case you're interested... I'm going to rate these books from 1-5 based on HOW LONG I SURVIVED READING IT WITHOUT SLEEPING hahahaha credibility you say? Here it goes...

HUNGER GAMES TRILOGY by Suzanne Collins (5)

I was never really interested with this one despite of all the pangungulit of my HG-loving friends but my tita sent me a copy so I did just for the sake of reading it. To my surprise, I actually loved it and finished the first book in a day. Though honestly I got bored with Catching Fire and Mockingjay that I didn't even bother finishing the last book 

WHY WE BROKE UP by Daniel Handler (4.5)

This book is sooo cute! The title says it all, the whole of the book is really just about why Min and Ed broke up. It had very nice visuals in it though I was really really hoping that at the end of the book, there would be like a POV of Ed (the boyfriend), sadly there's none :(

I heard that the movie is already in the works!


THE FAULT IN OUR STARS by John Green

If you're looking for a fresh plot (and by fresh I mean not your typical boy-girl relationship) then go ahead and give yourself a piece of John Green. I know this book is kinda mainstream already but who cares? Though honestly I wasn't as amazed as the majority were. I really dont know why. But Im putting the blame on my friend coz she spoiled the story hahaha


THE STATISTICAL PROBABILITY OF LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT by Jennifer Smith (2.5)

Okay, so as much as I wanted to give all the praises and likes, I really didn't enjoy reading this one, BUT it's NOT because the story's lame it's just that I expected way too much!!! I kept on telling my friend that the intro of the story takes forever. I mean the phasing is so slow, just like that and the story's over! Hahahaha but really, it's all my fault because the book is really just about the "statistical probability of love at first sight" (duh)


A PALE VIEW OF HILLS by Kazuo Ishiguro (3.5)

I actually haven't finished this book yet but I'm almost there. The story is really interesting and kinda creepy. I don't know if it's supposed to be like that but I kinda get scared whenever the kid in this story acts all spooky and stuff hahaha. It's actually a breather from the usual books that I read and like I said, the story really is interesting. Plus the author also wrote the novel turned movie, Never Let Me Go!


I'VE GOT YOUR NUMBER by Sophie Kinsella

Now this is my super latest book fave. After hearing it from my friend, I immediately asked for a copy and just like that I fell in love with it! Poppy (the main character) is sooooo funny!!!! I am literally laughing while reading the book. And I always get that creepy look from my sister whenever she catches me doing so. The story evolves around Poppy's misadventures and how it helped her... find true love. Okay so I'm just guessing the last part because I havent finished it yet but I must say, this is pretty good!



I actually wanna share more but I think I'll just make another post for it so I get higher blog hits hahaha kidding I'm just sleepy. So there tell me if I kinda helped you out... or not.
